THE Bahrain Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (BCICAI) held its first technical session of the 2025-26 term, focusing on the ‘Future of Capital – Investment Reimagined.’
The event took place at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel Residence and Spa in Manama
More than 150 members and guests attended the session, which featured valuable insights from a panel of experts: Ajay Sharma, president of Edelweiss, Singapore; Gaurav Sharma, portfolio manager at Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions, Dubai; and Veerappan Aiyappan, investment director at EVA Mera Funds, India. The speakers provided analysis on global markets, investment strategies, and wealth creation.
Attendees also participated in interactive games designed to help them better understand capital markets.
The BCICAI’s new executive committee for the 2025-26 term is led by chairman Vinit Maroo. The rest of the committee includes Vinod Rathi as vice-chairman, Abhishek Gupta as secretary, Zaki Parvez as treasurer, and Abhinav Goel and Pankaj Jain as joint secretary and joint treasurer, respectively.
The committee’s other members are head of education Bharti Maheshwari, head of communications Kaushalendra Manglunia, head of media Nikitha Mohan, head of membership Vivek Trivedi, and head of sports Ankit Ajmera.
