The Supreme Committee for Haj and Umrah Affairs announced that more than 20,000 people have registered for Haj 2026 since the electronic registration opened last Wednesday.
The committee confirmed that those who meet the conditions will receive preliminary acceptance notifications after the registration period ends on September 16.
The acceptance will be based on priority criteria and within Bahrain’s quota of 4,625 pilgrims.
The committee also said it will announce later the official date for those preliminarily accepted to choose their preferred tour operator.
Licensed Haj tour operators will be given sufficient time to promote their packages, enhancing competitiveness and enabling pilgrims to review, compare, and select.
