Obstructions on roads and in public areas in Sanad and Nuwaidrat have been removed by the Southern Municipality. These included illegal structures, makeshift gathering areas, and old and unsafe furniture including chairs, tables and sofas.
Violators were reportedly given enough time to correct the situation, but many of them failed to heed the warning.
The municipality said in a statement yesterday that it will continue to preserve the interest and safety of citizens and residents, by removing dangerous structures and obstructions from public areas.
