The Bahrain Chamber has successfully concluded the fourth edition of its ‘Experience It’ programme, providing hands-on training for 33 students aged 15 to 18.
The initiative, part of the chamber’s corporate social responsibility efforts, offered participants practical experience in 15 prominent private sector companies. These included Bapco, Alba, Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait, Gulf Air Group, Bahrain Bourse, and Ithmaar Bank.
Organised in partnership with the Youth Affairs Ministry, the Nasser Centre for Science and Technology, and Hope Talents, the programme aimed to equip students with practical and technical skills aligned with the needs of the labour market.
Bahrain Chamber chairman Sameer Nass emphasised the programme’s role in empowering young Bahrainis. “This is not just a training opportunity, but a pioneering experience reflecting the chamber’s commitment to equipping young generations with practical expertise for entering the job market,” he said.
Mr Nass noted that the programme was inspired by the vision of His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who has consistently highlighted the importance of youth empowerment.
He also praised the participating companies, stating that their support “reflects a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility and belief in investing in youth as the true wealth and future cornerstone of the nation.”
