His Majesty King Hamad has expressed pride in deep-rooted and historical Bahrain-Saudi relations, and their mutual keenness to strengthen and consolidate them for the benefit of the people.

He highlighted the steady progress of co-operation, co-ordination, and joint action across all sectors, particularly cultural, scientific and knowledge-related areas.
His Majesty also commended the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to strengthen Bahraini-Saudi relations, and the honourable historic stances of Saudi Arabia in support of Bahrain, as well as its pioneering role in strengthening joint Gulf and Arab action.
Prince Faisal expressed appreciation to the King for the warm welcome and generous hospitality and for his efforts to strengthen deep-rooted ties between the two countries and peoples.
