The Entrepreneurs’ Organisation (EO) Bahrain chapter announced that its 37 members have collectively contributed $120 million to the economy and created 3,900 jobs.
The announcement was made by EO Bahrain resident Fareed Bader at a gathering to mark the formation of the new board of directors.
The event was attended by members, partners, and supporters from Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
Mr Bader added that the new board’s goal is to expand the chapter’s membership to 50 entrepreneurs.
“Our objective is to attract individuals with distinguished entrepreneurial achievements, whose expertise and vision will strengthen the organisation’s growth and extend tangible benefits to all members,” he said in his address.
Board member Halel Engineer provided details on upcoming programmes and events aimed at strengthening Bahrain’s entrepreneurship ecosystem, fostering partnerships, and highlighting entrepreneurial success stories.
Other board members also presented their plans for advancing innovation and sustainable growth.
The 15-member board of directors, chaired by Fareed Bader, includes Bob Thaker, Mohamed Al Aali, Halel Engineer, Mohanned Al Aani, Ahmed Shah, Nabeel Radhi, Hemant Bhatia, Faisal Juma, Mohammed Almuharraqi, Mashael Fairooz, Safa Sharif, Mohamed Alsaeed, Saad Asghar Ali, and Cristina Toledo, the board chapter manager.
The Entrepreneurs’ Organisation is a global network of over 18,000 business leaders across 220 chapters in more than 75 countries.
Founded in 1987, the organisation’s members generate an estimated $500 billion in global GDP and employ over 5.2m people.
