Bahrain’s International Dispute Resolution Council secretary general Professor Marike Paulsson yesterday met India’s Law and Justice Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal to enhance legal and tax co-operation.
Discussions focused on advancing shared priorities between Bahrain and India, promoting investment, enhancing legal co-operation, and developing modern frameworks for international dispute resolution.
Both sides also explored means to support cross-border investment, expand legal links, and identify next steps for implementing advanced dispute resolution mechanisms to foster economic growth in both countries.
The meeting was attended by Legal Affairs Department secretary Dr Anju Rathi Rana at India’s Law and Justice Ministry; former additional solicitor general Pinky Anand; and representative of Bahrain’s Embassy in India Mehdi Jaafar.
