His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday met Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya.
He affirmed the strategic basis of Bahraini-Japanese relations, which are built on shared aspirations and partnerships.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the importance of enhancing bilateral co-ordination and nurturing opportunities that benefit both nations and their peoples.
He noted the strength of relations between Bahrain and Japan, and the continued multi-sector progress and development witnessed by both nations.
He emphasised the integral role Japan plays in supporting development across various levels, noting the importance of strengthening and unifying international efforts to bolster regional security and stability.
During the meeting, the latest regional and international developments, as well as issues of common interest, were discussed.
Prime Minister’s Court Minister Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani and several senior officials attended the meeting.
