I love it when expats in the GCC complain about immigrants in their country after their own country invaded half of the world. Terrorists? In UK anything that is pro-Palestinian is labelled this way – and you dare to use this to make a point, what an audacity.
@lenaal5570
Colonising and exploiting other countries, stealing their wealth and properties, but now complaining about being ‘colonised’ ... surely all the countries oppressed by the UK wanted their country raped by the Brits?
@environmanbahrain
One hundred per cent support to this brave local man. It’s about the time to get their land back before it’s too late. Every country has its own beauty before these illegal, good-for-nothing people come in by boat. Wondering why the UK government has given up on their borders?
@the_insider888
Please read again the reason why he wanted to join in this protest. He makes no mention of Palestine? The UK is pro-immigration for those entering legally to add value to our economy and enrich our society.
Our socialised services are already under pressure, we simply cannot cope with large numbers of extra human beings - regardless of where they come from.
The largest group of illegal immigrants coming into the UK is Asia (52 per cent) followed by Sub-Saharan Africa (20pc), the Americas and non-EU Europe (16pc). The Middle East/North Africa only make up 11pc. Everyone is entitled to their political standpoint.
@thirskov
And you pay tax in the UK while living in Bahrain for 25 years? It’s easy to victimise yourself against the under-privileged who don’t have a voice.
@hiyasultan
Calling human beings an ‘invasion’ is dehumanising and dangerous. Migrants and refugees are people, not statistics or threats. This rhetoric spreads hate instead of solutions. Many of these refugees are fleeing wars and instability caused by Western invasions and policies in their countries. They are human beings, not threats. What a disappointing letter.
