THE National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has successfully wrapped up the fourth edition of its flagship summer internship, EVOLVE.
Building on the success of past years, the 2025 programme was split into two phases for school and university students, offering a chance to hone technical and soft skills for the financial services sector.
Participants attended classroom sessions with NBB staff and industry experts, followed by on-the-job placements across various bank departments. The programme also included team-building, sign language, cultural awareness, and first-aid training.
“More than just an internship, EVOLVE has become a national platform for youth development,” said NBB acting group chief human resources officer Maram Buallay.
“This edition of EVOLVE has further reinforced our commitment to ensuring that our national talent pipeline is ready to contribute meaningfully to Bahrain’s ongoing transformation,” she added.
EVOLVE 2025 was a collaboration with a network of academic institutions, charities, and training providers across the kingdom, designed to provide a holistic learning experience that aligns with Bahrain’s job market needs.
