On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa attended a reception hosted by the Saudi Embassy, in celebration of the 95th Saudi National Day.
Saudi Ambassador Naif bin Bandar Al Sudairi and senior officials were present.
Shaikh Khalid conveyed the congratulations and best wishes of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to the people of Saudi Arabia. He extended wished of continued progress and prosperity for the kingdom under its leadership.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasised that the deep-rooted ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia form a unique and exemplary bond.
“Over the years, this has been reflected in countless moments of mutual support, solidarity and unity on regional and international issues. These relations have grown beyond traditional state-to-state frameworks, becoming a single fabric that unites the two nations and their peoples, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques,” he said.
Shaikh Khalid highlighted that the ongoing efforts of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and Prince Mohammed bin Salman continue to strengthen co-operation and integration, while creating further opportunities for joint action.
“These efforts benefit both countries and peoples, building a future marked by optimism and determination to advance development and modernisation, while supporting prosperity and the sustainability of achievements in both nations.
“The cohesion between Bahrainis and Saudis constitutes the truest foundation of these solid ties. The mutual feelings of love and loyalty form a strong societal base that strengthens co-ordination within the GCC framework, opening wider avenues for integrated Gulf action and fuelling the shared Arab vision with greater solidarity and effectiveness.
“Saudi Arabia stands as a steadfast supporter and source of strength for Arabs and Muslims through its role in promoting peace, defending just causes and backing humanitarian efforts,” he pointed out.
He noted that this standing has been built on wise leadership and a clear vision that has strengthened its influence regionally and established a strong presence internationally, a role further reinforced by the tangible achievements being realised under Vision 2030.
The Deputy Prime Minister commended the achievements witnessed in Saudi Arabia across the economy, infrastructure, youth empowerment and the development of the knowledge economy.
He wished the kingdom and its people further progress and stability.
Ambassador Al Sudairi thanked His Majesty and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for their keenness to further strengthen the deep-rooted relations across various domains.
