His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday met Pakistan National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq at Gudaibiya Palace.
Mr Sadiq is currently on a visit to Bahrain.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the longstanding relations between Bahrain and Pakistan, forged over decades of multisectoral collaboration and strong people-to-people links, reaffirming Bahrain’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad.
HRH Prince Salman emphasised the kingdom’s commitment to building on Bahrain-Pakistan relations, and underscored the importance of co-operation between the legislative authorities of both countries.
HRH Prince Salman also reiterated their shared commitment to exchanging expertise and strengthening collaboration across parliamentary and legislative affairs.
During the meeting, issues of common interest, further opportunities to enhance bilateral co-operation, as well as the latest regional and international developments were discussed.
Mr Sadiq expressed his gratitude for HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s commitment to building closer ties.
Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al Musallam, Prime Minister’s Court Minister Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and several senior officials also attended the meeting.
