His Majesty King Hamad, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, has thanked Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) personnel for safeguarding the kingdom’s achievements and protecting its comprehensive progress.
The royal tribute came as the King met BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
He expressed appreciation for the dedication of all members of the BDF, their courage, loyalty and commitment to national duties. He underlined that the BDF personnel are held in the highest esteem and are a source of pride for Bahrain and its people.
His Majesty reiterated Bahrain’s keenness to further strengthen defence relations with other countries.
The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces directed senior officers to convey his greetings and appreciation to all BDF officers, non-commissioned officers, and personnel across all fields of duty, wishing them continued success.
National Security Adviser and Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa; Royal Guard Special Operations Commander Colonel Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa; BDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, and a number of senior officers attended the meeting.
