Supreme Council for Health chairman Lieutenant General Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa yesterday inaugurated a new intensive care unit at Salmaniya Medical Complex.
The unit, an extension of the existing facility, is intended to expand capacity in intensive care wards and beds while ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Lt Gen Dr Shaikh Mohammed emphasised that the opening of the unit reflects ongoing efforts to develop healthcare services and enhance the capabilities of SMC in line with national strategies to improve the quality of medical services.
