Foreign Ministry political affairs under-secretary Khalid Al Jalahma participated in a meeting of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) Ministerial Council, convened on the sidelines of the 80th UN General Assembly in New York.
Foreign ministers of member states and CICA Secretary General Kairat Sarybay also took part.
Mr Al Jalahma highlighted Bahrain’s support for closer co-operation and dialogue among CICA members.
He noted the security conference’s value as a regional platform to strengthen trust, promote stability and tackle common challenges across Asia.
He highlighted that Bahrain values the conference as an important driver of understanding and partnership between nations, contributing to shared progress and prosperity for the peoples of the region and the wider international community.
