THE directive from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, requiring the Labour Ministry to offer three job opportunities for every registered job seeker this year, has been strongly praised as a commitment to Bahrain’s citizens as the top development priority.
Bahrain Chamber chairman Sameer Nass asserted that the move reflects His Majesty King Hamad’s vision, confirming citizens are the ‘true wealth’ and foundation for the nation’s progress and stability.
Mr Nass called the instruction a clear commitment to sustainable development and praised HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for fostering an open dialogue with the populace. He affirmed the private sector’s role as an effective partner, stressing it is the main engine of development. The Chamber will coordinate efforts to expand job creation and enhance national competitiveness, he said.
The Chamber chairman concluded that the directive underscores the priority of investing in youth for a prosperous future, empowering citizens, and strengthening the public-private partnership to drive economic growth and attract investments.
