The Future Society for Youth has been awarded the ISO 26000 certificate for social responsibility.
The certificate was presented by Social Development Minister Osama Al Alawi during a ceremony held under the Al Kooheji Foundation Grant project, in collaboration with the Regional Network for Social Responsibility and with the participation of a distinguished group of civil society leaders and representatives.
The recognition crowns the efforts made by the society to strengthen its administrative practices and transform voluntary initiatives into professional institutional work.
“This achievement highlights the society’s dedication to embedding the principles of social responsibility not only within its field programmes but also across its strategic and operational plans, thereby ensuring the delivery of sustainable and high-quality initiatives aligned with the best international benchmarks,” said society chairman Sabah Al Zayani.
He added that the society will adopt ISO 26000 as a guiding framework to assess and enhance its social impact, while developing its programmes to meet the aspirations of the youth.
