His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday met Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin during his visit to the Vatican and Italy.
He highlighted Bahrain’s unwavering commitment to upholding the values of tolerance, coexistence, and intercultural dialogue, principles championed by His Majesty King Hamad.
HRH Prince Salman affirmed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between Bahrain and the Vatican, advancing shared aspirations, furthering the values of coexistence and promoting global peace and stability.
He also outlined that Bahrain, with its rich cultural heritage and strong international ties, has built bridges of communication and co-operation that have fostered development and growth across multiple key sectors, and will continue to pursue these efforts.
Prime Minister’s Court Minister Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani, Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and several senior officials also attended the meeting.
