BAHRAIN and the United States have stepped up their historic relations with the signing of a memorandum of co-operation on border security.
The memorandum aims to facilitate the exchange of information to protect the safety and security of both countries’ territories and to conduct checks related to borders, immigration and travellers and to prevent the entry of ineligible individuals due to reasons related to terrorism, crime or national security .
