The German Embassy hosted a reception at Sheraton Bahrain to mark the 35th anniversary of German Unity Day.
German Ambassador Henning Simon welcomed Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani, Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al Musallam, ministers, Shura Council members, MPs, diplomats, business leaders, German expatriates and guests.
Dr Al Zayani extended Bahrain’s congratulations and affirmed the kingdom’s pride in its longstanding partnership with Germany.

He emphasised the importance of continued co-operation across political, economic, and cultural domains, specifically highlighting trade, investment, renewable energy, and education, to achieve a shared, prosperous future.
The ambassador reiterated Germany’s commitment to advancing relations and co-ordination with Bahrain, wishing the kingdom continued progress and prosperity.
