His Majesty King Hamad today opened the National Assembly’s fourth session of the sixth legislative term.
The opening ceremony at the Isa Cultural Centre was followed by a speech by National Assembly and Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al Musallam.
It will be followed by the Shura Council and Parliament’s first sessions of the term at the National Assembly Complex in Gudaibiya.
Shura will hold elections for the first and second vice-chairmen.
This will be followed by a Parliament session.
