Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa yesterday met senior officers.
BDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi and adviser for financial and technical affairs Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa attended the meeting.
The commander-in-chief affirmed that, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, the BDF continues to serve as the nation’s shield and protector, performing its duties with dedication and professionalism to ensure Bahrain’s security and prosperity.
He conveyed His Majesty’s greetings to all commanders and expressed pride in the King’s recognition of the role played by the defence and security forces in safeguarding Bahrain’s stability.
Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa and commanders extended their gratitude and congratulations to His Majesty for his keynote speech at the opening of the fourth session of the sixth legislative term of the Shura and Parliament.
