Interior Minister and ministerial committee for information and communication technology chairman General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa has noted the importance of digital development projects to improve institutional performance and service quality, in line with Bahrain’s vision of a fully integrated digital society.
He chaired the committee’s meeting yesterday which reviewed ongoing technological projects and digital initiatives, ensuring timely implementation, efficiency and quality.
Highlights of the discussion included the ‘Citizen Lifecycle’ initiative via the MyGov application, providing integrated e-services across all life stages, from birth registration and education to healthcare, employment, housing and retirement.
