Education Minister and University of Bahrain board of trustees chairman Dr Mohammed Mubarak Juma chaired a meeting of the board.
He congratulated the board on the university’s inclusion in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings for the first time since its establishment in 1986, marking a significant milestone as the first and national university in Bahrain to enter the global ranking.
The board reviewed the World Bank’s report on the Bahrain Teachers College, which commended the quality of its teacher training programmes and its effective co-operation with the Education Ministry.
