In line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Bahrain Bourse chief executive officer Shaikh Khalifa bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa took part in National Tree Week activities by planting trees at Bahrain Financial Harbour.
The initiative supports Bahrain’s national afforestation plan, which aims to plant 3.6 million trees by 2035 as part of the kingdom’s vision to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060. This step aligns with Bahrain Bourse’s ongoing efforts to achieve net-zero emissions, following its membership in the Net Zero Financial Service Providers Alliance.
