Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa has commended Bahrain’s long-standing and strategic relations with the United States.
The minister stressed the shared commitment to further strengthening co-operation in areas that serve the common interests of both countries when he met Vice Admiral Curt Renshaw, Commander of the United States Naval Forces
Central Command and Fifth Fleet, on the occasion of his appointment.
Public Security chief Lieutenant General Tariq Al Hassan attended the meeting.
Gen Shaikh Rashid wished Vice Adm Renshaw success in his new duties.
They also discussed areas of co-operation and security co-ordination.
