His Majesty King Hamad issued Decree (62) of 2025, regarding the restructuring of the board of trustees of the Mohammed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, based on the proposal of the Foreign Minister and following Cabinet approval.
The board shall be chaired by the Foreign Minister, and its members include:
1. The president of the Civil Service Bureau.
2. The director general of the Mohammed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies.
3. The Foreign Ministry under-secretary for political affairs.
4. The chief executive officer of the Labour Fund ‘Tamkeen’.
5. The chief executive for strategic affairs at the Economic Development Board.
6. The assistant under-secretary for financial policies and budget at the Finance and National Economy Ministry.
Membership on the board shall be for a term of four years, renewable.
The Foreign Minister shall implement the provisions of this decree, which shall come into effect the day following its publication in the Official Gazette.
The King also issued Royal Decree (63) of 2025 appointing members of the Dispute Resolution Panels of the Bahrain International Commercial Court (BICC), based on a proposal of the Prime Minister and the approval of the Cabinet.
The decree appointed the following as members of BICC:
1. Joan Donoghue.
2. Dr Pinky Anand.
3. Judge Abdulrahman Al Sayed Mohammed Al Sayed Ahmed.
4. Judge Khalid Hassan Ali Ajaji.
5. Dr Mohammed Salah Abdelwahab.
6. Aysha Abdulla Mohammed Mutaywea.
7. Chiann Bao.
8. Philippe Pinsolle.
The Prime Minister and the ministers, each in their capacity, shall implement this decree, which shall be effective from the date of its issuance and published in the Official Gazette.
