Bahrain has earned high praise from the Asian Olympic Council (OCA) for successfully hosting the third Asian Youth Games, with the organisation describing the event as a massive achievement that rivals the largest Asian Games ever held.
The remarks came during a joint Press conference held by the OCA, the executive committee of the Asian Youth Games, and the Bahrain Asian Youth Games Organising Committee at the Exhibition World Bahrain.
OCA director general Hussain Al Musallam noted that despite having less than eight months to prepare since being awarded the hosting rights, the kingdom delivered an event of exceptional quality – an unprecedented accomplishment in the history of continental games. “Bahrain’s ability to stage such a large-scale sporting event reflects its strong organisational capacity and commitment to excellence.”
