US police have arrested a suspect who reportedly shot a person at the Austin Central Library in Texas, authorities said.
One victim was taken to a local hospital and is in serious but stable condition, officials said.
The suspect fled the library before emergency responders arrived but was arrested in South Austin more than an hour later.
Police said it appeared to be an isolated incident.
Authorities said there was no ongoing threat to the public.
