Bahrain welcomed the signing of the ceasefire agreement between Thailand and Cambodia, held under the mediation of US President Donald Trump, on the sidelines of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry emphasised that the kingdom views this development as an important step toward protecting civilian lives and achieving lasting peace.
