A community group in Bahrain is calling for donations of children’s toys, books, bicycles, games and clothes to support families in need during this festive season.
Items in good condition should be dropped off at Bahrain Rugby Football Club in Saar until November 5.
OneHeartBahrain is organising a community bazaar at Al Hilal Hospital, Salmabad, on November 15, from 4pm to 6.30pm.
Families wishing to benefit from the donations are encouraged to contact the unregistered group either via Instagram @oneheartbahrain or WhatsApp 34130434.
Due diligence will be conducted to ensure that support reaches the really needy.
Volunteers are also welcome from November 5 to 15 to help with logistics, sorting and running the bazaar.
“This year’s bazaar carries a poignant message of inclusion,” said group spokesperson Amal Ishaq.
“While the festive season is a time of celebration for many, it also reminds us of the struggles faced by less fortunate families. Our mission is to directly address this and bring magic in the lives of children.”
