The Housing and Urban Planning Ministry yesterday announced that it has completed preparations to begin receiving applications for the Tamooh (Ambitions) programme from next Thursday, the minister Amna Al Romaihi said.
This follows directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to lower the maximum monthly instalments for beneficiaries of the Mazaya programme by increasing the government’s financial support, and to diversify housing options and solutions.
Citizens wishing to benefit from the Tamooh programme may submit their applications via the government e-portal or the ministry’s website.
She noted that the programme allows beneficiaries of Tas’heel and Tas’heel+ financing, as well as previous beneficiaries of financing for purchasing ownership apartments, to obtain an additional government-subsidised financing of BD20,000 to move to a larger property, Ms Al Romaihi said. The minister also announced the launch of three new digital services through the Baity (My House) real estate platform.
