Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani met Monika Schmutz Kirgöz, head of the Middle East and North Africa Division at the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) State Secretariat; and Gabriel Lüchinger, head of the International Security Division at the FDFA State Secretariat.
The meeting took place during their visit to the kingdom to participate in the 21st IISS Manama Dialogue 2025.
The two sides discussed the close relations between Bahrain and the Swiss Confederation, and their shared commitment to further enhancing bilateral co-operation to serve common interests.
They also exchanged views on regional and international developments and reviewed efforts to resolve global conflicts through diplomatic dialogue, and to strengthen international peace, security, and stability.
