Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani met Yemen Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr Shaya Mohsin Zindani during his visit to Bahrain to participate in the 21st IISS Manama Dialogue 2025.
The two sides discussed the close relations between Bahrain and Yemen and their continued development. They also reviewed means to further strengthen co-operation across various domains to support the shared interests of both countries and their peoples.
The meeting addressed the latest developments in Yemen and the efforts by the government to meet the aspirations of the Yemeni people for security, stability, and development.
The discussions also covered regional and international efforts to support peace and security in Yemen, safeguard navigation in the Bab Al Mandeb Strait and the Red Sea, and enhance co-operation on issues of mutual interest.
