The Housing and Urban Planning Ministry, in co-operation with Eskan Bank, will hold the sixth edition of Mobile Housing Finance Branch initiative from tomorrow until Sunday at Marassi Galleria Mall, from 10am to 10pm.
The initiative aims to familiarise citizens with available housing options and solutions, as well as to provide consultations and guidance.
The ministry said that the initiative comes as part of the continued launch of the ‘Tomooh’ programme and the introduction of three new digital services on the ‘Baity’ real estate platform.
The event will enable direct communication with citizens to provide information and respond to their inquiries on how to benefit from the new services. It will also offer immediate, on-site consultations and explanations of the terms and criteria related to housing finance programmes.
The ministry added that the programme offers beneficiaries of ‘Tas’heel’ and ‘Tas’heel +’ financing schemes, as well as previous beneficiaries of housing purchase loans, an additional government-subsidised loan of BD20,000 to help them move to a larger property.
Eskan Bank emphasised the importance of raising public awareness about the new digital services introduced through the ‘Baity’ platform, which aims to streamline procedures for citizens seeking housing finance options.
The integrated electronic system provides up-to-date information on application progress and the relevant authority at each stage, helping accelerate procedures and enhance service quality and efficiency.
