The Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry and the Eskan Bank yesterday announced plans to develop land designated for a new commercial and service market in Hamad Town.
Under-Secretary for Municipalities Affairs Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa said the project aims to provide essential services and meets urban development needs.
He noted the site spans more than 12,000sqm and is accessible from Shaikh Khalifa Bin Salman Highway.
The Eskan Bank will conduct the necessary studies to prepare for the project.
