The Information Ministry yesterday mourned the death of veteran broadcaster and media personality Ahmed Hussain Khonji.
Mr Khonji had a distinguished career in radio and television broadcasting, was a media pioneer, the ministry said.
He contributed through his dedication and efforts to reinforcing the national media identity across the positions in which he served, it added.
The ministry extended heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones and the media community.
