Italy stands as Bahrain’s leading trade partner within the European Union, Bahrain Chamber affirmed in a report. The volume of trade between the two countries reached approximately $791 million in 2024, marking a notable increase of 20 per cent compared with 2023. These figures not only reflect the depth and stability of economic ties between the two nations, but also highlight the resilience and dynamism of their trade relations, our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej wrote.
The Chamber pointed out a significant expansion in areas of co-operation between the two countries in recent years, extending to promising new sectors such as logistics, tourism, and services.
