THE Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain recently celebrated Global Customer Appreciation Week with a special ceremony for its clients and partners.
The annual event – a global initiative by Marriott dedicated to showing appreciation and gratitude – was held at the Masaya Pavilion.
Guests enjoyed an evening of ‘connection’ with a warm welcome from the hotel’s management, as well as other entertainment.
The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain director of operations Ekaterina Akatcevich thanked those present for their trust, loyalty and partnership. She also shared the hotel’s achievements during the year, including new offerings focused on creating a premium experience for guests.
The hotel’s Luxury Boat Culture and maritime hospitality – a first in Bahrain, new dining outlet La Terrace, a blend between Mediterranean flair and French classics, and the finest pastries by World Pastry Champion Alexis Beaufils are some of the experiences that were highlighted.
A short film featuring additional highlights of the property was screened, showcasing the hotel’s culturally diverse team.
The special celebration continued with an informative quiz where questions were based on the hotel. Some took home exciting prizes, including dining experiences and a one-night-stay.
A photo booth to create fond memories of the evening was a hit with both, guests and the Ritz’s staff members alike.
The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Bahrain had a dedicated corner at the venue, showcasing its luxurious beauty and skincare products, from scrubs to moisturisers, all made from natural ingredients.
Small touches like a mariachi band serenading guests as they walked down the pathway to the Masaya Pavilion, was a reminder of the Ritz’s star-studded hospitality.
“The Ritz-Carlton always uses innovation as its currency and that’s what differentiates us from the rest of the hotels – we try to bring new ideas to the table every time,” sales and distribution director Michael Mounir told the GDN.
“Tonight we join all our properties across the globe – more than 8,500 – to connect with our loyal customers who have been supporting us throughout the years to simply tell them thank you,” he noted.
Speaking about upcoming offerings, he said: “During December, we will launch our winter chalet, something that every guest is awaiting. It is a beautiful dining experience from the Alpine featuring the raclette (a traditional dish from the Swiss and French Alps) and the cheese fondue.
“Aside from this we will focus our activities around families. One of the things that we highlight during our popular Christmas brunch is that we have a whole area for children’s activities – it is important for us that we take care of the little ones.”
Mr Mounir emphasised The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain’s close collaboration with the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, nodding to the property’s focus on promoting the kingdom across all their programmes.
“We work hand in hand with the tourism authority as well to promote Bahrain. We participate in multiple trade shows throughout the year and, at end of this month, I will be travelling to the south of France – Cannes – to attend the International Luxury Travel Market trade show. It is one of the most luxurious events and we go there to make sure that we create awareness about the kingdom; it’s not about only the hotel but also about the destination,” he added.
