One of Bahrain’s top schools brought together a wide range of professionals for its first-ever Careers Day last week.
Nadeen School, located in Dilmunia, welcomed representatives from sectors including aviation, engineering, finance, healthcare, hospitality, sustainability, government and creative industries, to guide and inspire secondary school students as they explore future study and career pathways.
“The event showcased the strength of our community and the invaluable role of industry partnerships in shaping learners’ futures,” school principal James Batts said.
Students from Years 9 to 11 engaged in meaningful conversations, asked insightful questions and discovered new possibilities for their futures.
Guests at the event included representatives from the British Embassy, Interior Ministry, National Bank of Bahrain, Bapco, Royal Bahrain Hospital, Texel Air, Bahrain Surf Park, Gulf Aviation Academy, RCSI, Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre, Royal Bahrain Hospital and various independent businesses and entrepreneurs.

The day began with a welcome from secondary school vice principal Paul Sherlock before learners toured the exhibitor tables.
After the event, guests joined staff for refreshments and a school tour.
“Our learners benefited enormously from the time, honesty and encouragement shared by each guest,” Mr Sherlock added. “Their involvement has opened doors and broadened horizons.”
UK Ambassador Alastair Long praised the ambition and creativity of the learners, noting the strong collaboration between the school and community.
