TWENTY teams from Bahrain and the GCC will participate in the final race of the Nasser bin Hamad Marine Heritage Season.
They will be vying for His Majesty the King’s Cup for the 3,000-metre race in a 30-foot traditional rowing boat.
Season head Mohammed Mubarak Al Rumaihi said that the event, on Saturday near the Bahrain National Theatre, will mark the end of the eighth edition of the season.
He added that the closing ceremony will also feature an open water swimming competition in two age categories: 30 to 45 years, and 46 years and above.
