Visitors can get an up-close look at the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix trophy on display at Jewellery Arabia 2025, which ends today.
The cup is showcased at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) stand located at the concourse, at Exhibition World Bahrain in Sakhir.
The iconic trophy, designed by Fox Silver director Richard Fox and Nigel Gray, features the Bahrain emblem and the engraving around the lid and base symbolises the convergence of the two seas that surround the kingdom in the Arabian Gulf.
The BIC logo is repeated four times in each square segment to form the top and bottom pattern in gold. It also reflects the top of the circuit’s main grandstand, inspired by Bedouin tents.
It has been handcrafted in solid sterling silver with 24-carat hard gold plate on the trophy body and base.
In 2022, an additional base was added to allow for more inscriptions of future winning drivers.
Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2026 is scheduled to take place from April 10 to 12 next year. Ticket bookings will be available at the BIC stand, along with official BIC and F1 merchandise.
The exhibition will be open today from 3pm to 10pm.
