The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) and Batelco by Beyon have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to explore strategic areas of collaboration within their retail and loyalty ecosystems.
The strategic agreement aims to enhance customer engagement and broaden the range of value-added services accessible through both institutions.
As part of the agreement, the two institutions will assess opportunities to align their loyalty programmes and introduce bundled services to enhance value and convenience for their customers. The partnership will further develop an integrated proposition, connecting Batelco’s and NBB’s digital platforms, while introducing tailored offers for users of both institutions.
NBB retail banking chief executive officer Subah Abdullatif Al Zayani said, “We are excited to partner with Batelco in a shared mission to redefine customer experiences through innovation. Together, we will explore introducing smarter, more accessible solutions that simplify everyday interactions and support the kingdom’s journey towards a fully connected digital future.”
Batelco by Beyon consumer division general manager Aseel Mattar said, “We are pleased to embark on this initiative with NBB, a partner that shares our vision of enhanced customer experiences through innovation. Together, we are paving the way for integrated retail offerings that are easier to access, simpler to use, and tailored to the evolving lifestyles of consumers in today’s digital age.”
The newly announced collaboration marks another step towards a long-term partnership aligned with Bahrain’s national ambitions for digital service innovation and sectoral alignment.
