The Education Ministry has referred a parent to the Public Prosecution after they left their child alone outside a kindergarten before official school hours.
According to the ministry, an administrative staff member discovered the child unattended in front of the building and immediately contacted the parents to clarify the situation.
Officials stressed that the child’s safety was put at risk, as there was no supervision prior to the start of the kindergarten’s working hours.
The ministry urged parents and guardians to take full responsibility for their children and avoid negligence to ensure their wellbeing.
