The Prime Minister’s Office has announced the conclusion of the application process for the seventh edition of the Government Innovation Competition (Fikra).
Fikra, launched under the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, aims to enhance the contributions of the national workforce in supporting the government’s development efforts and achieving the kingdom’s desired aspirations.
The application period ran from November 2 until yesterday. Applications were received from various government entities, and the evaluation committee has commenced the review process.
Fikra has helped foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the public sector, in line with national aspirations and Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
The competition also contributes to enhancing government performance and improving the services provided to citizens and residents through the ideas and concepts presented, all of which support the kingdom’s sustainable development.
