The festive season continues to sparkle in Manama with the launch of the Sheraton Bahrain Hotel’s spectacular bazaar in the Al Taj Ballroom and its beloved annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
As guests entered the lobby, they were immersed in a dazzling winter wonderland, filled with the excitement of families, guests and hotel staff gathered for the cherished community tradition. The stunning Christmas trees, adorned with countless baubles, created a breathtaking display in the lobby.
Adding warmth and charm to the evening, the American School of Bahrain choir serenaded attendees with a delightful selection of classic carols, filling the air with festive melodies and building anticipation for the main event.
When the moment arrived, the lights on the tree sprang into life, eliciting a collective cheer from the enthusiastic crowd and casting a radiant glow.
The much-anticipated moment unfolded as Santa Claus made a grand entrance, greeting delighted children with gifts and bringing smiles to every young face.
Guests indulged in a variety of complimentary festive bites and warm beverages, ensuring that everyone felt embraced by the holiday spirit.
Sheraton Bahrain Hotel’s General Manager, Jurrien Bongers, shared exciting details about the hotel’s extensive lineup of holiday events and dining options, both inside the five-star property and at home, for those eager to extend the festive cheer throughout December and into the New Year.
“Our Turkey Takeaway Box, featuring a whole roasted turkey and trimmings, will be available until January 7,” he announced. “On December 24, we will host a Christmas Eve dinner at WILD Restaurant and Brasero Atlántico, located on The Rooftop, offering stunning views of the city.
“Our Christmas Day brunch at WILD will also feature a festive family-style menu brimming with seasonal delights, complemented by live entertainment and activities for the little ones on the lawn.”
Mr Bongers also highlighted that on Christmas Day, Brasero Atlántico will present a beautifully curated festive dinner feast, showcasing a holiday menu inspired by the warmth of the season, with highlights such as Chef James’ signature Beef Wellington – a true showstopper for Christmas dinner.
“As the year draws to a close, we invite guests to choose from our New Year’s Eve dinner options at Wild, Golestan Persian Grill, or Brasero Atlántico which offers one of the best views of the fireworks display.
“Following dinner, guests can join us for a surprise countdown in the lobby to ring in 2026,” Mr Bongers added. “On January 1, our WILD Lazy Lunch will feature a generous buffet of breakfast and lunch selections, including hot and cold shareables, available from 6am to 3pm.”
