Around 100 people volunteered at a blood donation camp held to mark the kingdom’s National Day.
The 10th edition of the drive was organised by the unregistered Kozhikode Jilla Pravasi Forum (KPF), in association with the Central Blood Bank and Salmaniya Medical Complex, under the slogan ‘Donate Blood, Save Life.’
Attendees included KPF president Sudheer Thirunilath, acting general secretary Ramasanthosh, treasurer Sujith Soman, ladies wing convener Sajna Shanoub, charity wing convener Sajith Vellikulangara and advisory members Jamal Kuttikkatil, K T Saleem, and U K Balan.
The forum has been conducting blood donation drives regularly every three months, making contributions during emergencies in the community.
It reiterated its commitment to humanitarian causes and expressed gratitude to the volunteers, donors, and supporters for making the programme a success.
