Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister Wael Al Mubarak, Oman’s Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources Minister Dr Saud bin Hamoud bin Ahmed Al Habsi, and UAE Assistant Under-Secretary for Food Diversity Sector Dr Mohammed Salman Al Hammadi, conducted a field visit to the mangrove plantation projects implemented by GPIC and Peninsula Farms.
Mr Al Mubarak emphasised Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening GCC co-operation in environmental sustainability and food security, highlighting the importance of mangrove cultivation, particularly under the national “Mangrove Bahrain” initiative.
