His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Bapco Energies chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday presided over the group’s board of directors meeting for the fourth quarter of 2025.
Shaikh Nasser extended congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and to the people of Bahrain, on the kingdom’s National Day and the 26th Anniversary of His Majesty’s Accession to the Throne.
Shaikh Nasser reviewed Bapco Energies’ overall performance during the year, including developments in the upstream and downstream sectors, and progress towards implementing the National Energy Strategy.
The board of directors also reviewed updates on the Bapco Refinery Modernisation Project, the group’s financial performance, progress in institutional transformation, and co-operation with international partners.
The board reiterated its commitment to supporting Bapco Energies as a key driver in enhancing energy security, creating economic opportunities, and achieving sustainability in Bahrain.
