His Majesty King Hamad and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi have emphasised the necessity of the full implementation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
During a phone call yesterday, they also highlighted the importance of urgent and unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid and the immediate commencement of reconstruction efforts to restore normal life for Gaza’s residents.
Both underscored their firm rejection of any attempts to displace the Palestinian people from their land and stressed that the Palestinian cause remains a top priority on the Arab and international agendas.
They agreed on the importance of fully implementing US President Donald Trump’s peace plan in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 2803, as a framework for achieving a just and comprehensive peace.
The two leaders agreed to continue communications and co-ordination on issues of mutual interest, particularly in light of the challenging circumstances in the region, to strengthen Arab unity and serve the interests of their peoples.
The leaders stressed the distinguished relations between their countries and efforts to further strengthen co-operation across various sectors.
